VihtaVuori

 N110

This is a very fast burning propellant that can be used in applications which previously used 2400, Hodgdon H110, or Winchester 296. Typical applications include: .22 Hornet, .25-20 Winchester, .357 S&W Magnum, .357 Maximum, .44 Magnum and .45 Winchester Magnum.

N133

This speed is very close to IMR 4198 in quickness. Thus, it is ideal for the .222 Remington, .223 Remington, and .45-70 Government and other applications where a relatively fast burning rifle propellant is needed.

N140

This powder can usually be used in place of Reloader 15, IMR 4320, and Hodgdon H380. Applications include: .222 Remington Magnum, .22-250 Remington (factory powder), .30-.30 Winchester, .308 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, .375 H&H Magnum, and so on.

N310

Very fast burning and competitive with Bullseye and Accurate No.2. It has applications in a very wide range from the .25 ACP to the 9mm Luger.

Hodgdon

Varget

The first of Hodgdon's revolutionary Extreme Extruded Powders, VARGET features small extruded grains for uniform metering, insensitivity to hot/cold temperatures and higher energy for improved velocities over other powders in its burning speed class. Easy ignition and clean burning characterize other features that translate into superb accuracy, higher scores and more clean, one shot kills. The perfect powder for competitive Match shooting 223 Remington and Heavy bullets. Outstanding performance and velocity can be obtained in such popular cartridges as the 223 Remington, 22-250 Remington, 308 Winchester, 30-06, 375 H&H and many more.

Clays

Introduced in January, 1992, CLAYS gunpowder has "taken the clay target world by storm". It is the cleanest burning , most consistent 12 gauge. 7/8., 1 oz. and 1 1/8 oz. powder available today, the preferred choice of competitive target shooters.. The superb burning characteristics of this powder produce soft, smooth recoil and excellent patterns. These features transfer directly to handgun applications where target shooting is the main goal. 45 ACP and 38 Special are only two of the cartridges where CLAYS gunpowder provides "tack driving" target accuracy with flawless functioning.

Titegroup

As the name implies, this new spherical propellant was designed for accuracy. Because of the unique design, this powder provides flawless ignition with all types of primers including the lead-free versions. Unlike pistol powders of the past, powder position in large cases (45 Colt, 357 Magnum and others) has virtually no effect on velocity and performance. Cowboy Action, Bullseye and Combat Shooters should love this one! TITEGROUP has it all, low charge weight, clean burning, mild muzzle report and superb, uniform ballistics

Longshot

This spherical powder is the most versatile shotshell heavy field propellant Hodgdon has ever produced. Great loads in 10 gauge., 12 gauge., 16 gauge., 20 gauge., and 28 gauge. are shown in Hodgdon's Reloading Data Center. This propellant provides true magnum velocities with superb patterns. In addition, LONGSHOT is the best choice for those competitors shooting games such as "Buddy", "Annie Oakleys" and more. LONGSHOT is the high velocity pistol choice in 38 Super, 40 S&W, and 357 SIG at lower than usual operating pressures.

H110

H110 is the spherical powder that screams "no wimps, please!" It delivers top velocities with top accuracy in the 44 Magnum, 454 Casull, 475 Linebaugh and the 460 and 500 S&W magnums. Silhouette shooters claim it is the most accurate 44 powder they have ever used. In addition, H110 is "the" choice for 410 Bore shotgun, especially among top competitive skeet and sporting clays shooters. It handles all 2 1/2", 1/2 oz. loads, as well as all 11/16 oz. loads for the 3" version. Available

H380

This was an unnamed spherical rifle propellant when the late Bruce Hodgdon first used it. When a 38.0 grain charge behind a 52 grain bullet gave one hole groups from his 22 calibre wildcat (now called the 22-250), he appropriately named the powder H380. H380 is also a superb performer in the 220 Swift, 243, 257 Roberts and other fine varmint cartridges.

H4189

This Extreme Extruded propellant has gone through some changes since its inception, all the time maintaining the same important burning speed of the past. The kernels were shortened for improved metering and necessary elements were added to make it extremely insensitive to hot/cold temperatures. H4198 is outstanding in cartridges like the 222, 25-20 Remington, 444 Marlin 45-70 Gov and the 7.62 X 39

 777FFFG

 777

The same great powder as FFG with smaller grain size and it is intended for use in pistols and rifles of 50 caliber and smaller. Easy clean-up with this one - just like standard Triple Seven.

  IMR

Trail Boss

Trail Boss was designed specifically for low velocity lead bullet loads suitable for Cowboy Action Shooting. It is primarily a pistol powder, but has applications in rifle, especially Under Lever. It is based on a whole new technology which allows very high loading density, good flow through powder measures, stability in severe temperature variation with additional safety to the hand loader. This is the powder of choice for myself and many Cowboy shooters in the USA, and has won many competitions.
